The channel between the pillars reaches ~19m deep and allows you to see schools of sharks and rays in a spectacular underwater environment.
Deep currents bring nutrients that attract large marine species, creating a true natural “hotspot.”
Hammerhead sharks have recently been sighted around the edges of the lower channel.
During the outward or return trip, it is common to see dolphins, turtles swimming on the surface and even occasional cetaceans.

The Galapagos can be visited year-round. January through May offers warmer weather and calmer seas; June through December offers cooler temperatures and more marine life. Each season has its own unique charm.
We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance, especially during peak season (June-August and December-January), although we also assist with last-minute reservations subject to availability.
