The channel between the pillars reaches ~19m deep and allows you to see schools of sharks and rays in a spectacular underwater environment.
Deep currents bring nutrients that attract large marine species, creating a true natural “hotspot.”
Hammerhead sharks have recently been sighted around the edges of the lower channel.
During the outward or return trip, it is common to see dolphins, turtles swimming on the surface and even occasional cetaceans.
Sharks: white tip, reef and even hammerhead occasionally
Eagle rays, green turtles and various species of tropical fish
Curious and playful sea lions can be observed from the boat
Shorebirds: blue-footed boobies, Nazca, frigate birds and pelicans are found on the cliffs
